I think it is all in your personal thing. The swinging bridge would get me because there is space under me. But I have done the California Loop in the daylight and honestly did not see the drop offs. I know they are there but did not see them. Course I was riding with Robert Ribley and we were trotting so I just followed him........mb

The "swinging bridge" isn't all that bad. You just don't want more than one horse/rider on it at a time, because too many sets of feet cause it to sway. The parts of the ride that would get me are Pucker Point and the CA trail. I don't like looking down into depths from which I could fall.....
I crossed it off the minute I saw pictures of the swinging bridge.... :)
