Re: [RC] Grey Horses - Sisu West Ranch"If it is a good horse, it is a good color."*The only thing that bothers me about the discussions of color and supposed correlations with performance is that, as far as I can see, when one is carefully listing the attributes of a horse that suit it for performance, color should be dead last. Yes, dead last. Unfortunately, some folk base whole breeding programs on producing just the right color and color pattern. Inevitably, some important conformation and disposition properties are ignored or at least compromised. While my personal preference is for solid bay horses, I have owned good horses that were paint (registered, but actually sorrel), buckskin, grey, chestnut, and grey along with bay.
