I can not own an ensemble of horses, of any color or attributes. I have to evaluate individuals. I am very willing to purchase and ride Ranger even though he is a grey, and has poor quality white hoofs. On the balance his virtues outweigh his problems, so I put up with his problems. By the way, per my long standing policy, I do not have to worry about any of his faults being passed on to future generations. Same with Miikka. A quick visit by my local vet cured that impediment to a long happy life on my ranch when he was 6 months old.
