She attached the cinches and as soon as the horse took a step, it realized that the corral was coming with. Yikes! I wonder if the horse was happy about ever wearing a sheet again? Horses are accidents waiting to happen and despite all the caution we can take, stuff still happens. PS: I am very glad you weren't in your tent when it got nailed. ME TOO! We're getting a LQ this spring for a number of reason, but mainly our comfort in middle age. I've had people trip over our tent, the horse incident, almost run over at tnight with a big rig pulling in, extreme weather (snow, cold, rain & DEEP mud) that detracts from wanting to continue to tent camp. Sleeping in the dressing room of our un-insulated trailer can be a wake up call during a cold night. Ever roll over & touch the cold aluminum wall? ("I'm AWAKE, I'm AWAKE!) Either way, "roughing" it like this has gotten us to a great many rides that we enjoyed immensely. I wouldn't have missed it for the world, but I'm sure looking forward to a little bit of luxury this year.
