Maybe I still have it too low,but the chinstrap fit in the groove. The nose band should be roughly an inch to inch-and-half above the end of the bone running down the front of his face (this will depend on the size of his face of course, as demonstrated in that photo). I can't think of a better way to describe that. Also the noseband may be too snug. I gave it one finger space. Should it be looser? Possibly. It should be loose enough that you can totally release all pressure, and still have room to vary the pressure you apply.
