Re: [RC] Undies Question...... (what kinds best to ride in) - MagnumsmomSport-type undies that have some sort of moisture-management high tech micro fiber. You can find these at REI (www.rei.com) in many different styles. You definately want things to stay dry in that area to avoid chaffeing. If you are willing to spend the money, find a pair of tights or breeches in a fiber that feels right to you. For instance, I prefer Devon-Aire's Cool Cotton breech... I like the feel and protection of the heavier material but a lot of people prefer the "not there" feel of the cool-max Carousel breeches. In the winter here in the SW or back in the West or if it might rain you can't beat PolarTek fleece breeches. Fleece might be miserable at any time of year in Florida though. So where you are in the country the weather predictions will have a lot to do with recommendations you'll get. Have a great time on your first ride! If all else fails, whatever you've been training in will probably work... and if it doesn't (ie, falls appart for instance) there's always vet wrap. :) Kathy Myers in Santa Fe, NM =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
