[RC] freeform saddle feedback and random thoughts - sherman

Title: Message
Treeless saddles are improving all the time. I don't have a Freeform, but have used one before and liked it, although I ended up with a different brand of treeless that had more "twist" to accommodate my aching hips. I did have a fear of slipping and saddle shifting (side to side) due to no tree, but I found the treeless saddle structure (at least the new ones that I tried) were very stable and secure, even more so,  as I felt more "with the horse" than being "perched" on a saddle. I thought I needed "sticky" leather, but found the standard works well (with my saddle) without full seat patches on my tights and without my merino saddle cover too. I think there is no slipperiness in the seat of my saddle because the seat itself is soft, so I sit in it, not on it...does that make sense? So if anyone needs a used once brown merino full saddle cover cheap (bought for Big Horn and Abetta endurance saddles) give me a holler (:>)
