RE: [RC] Beet pulp pellets question - Terry Banister/Carrie - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLFTerry - I'm with you on that one. I only use shredded and just feed it dry, no soaking needed at all. My horses have never choked (in fact, that's a misnomer anyway- read Susan Garlinghouse's article on that), I add some rolled oats and they all love it crunchy, just as is. ~C i just don't understand why people bother with beet pulp pellets. Shredded (loose) beet pulp in most cases, no longer has molassas added. Just dump a scoop or two into the feed bin, and pour an equal amount of water over it and stir! No soaking needed!!! I have been doing it for 9 years. Why do people bother with pellets????
