Re: [RC] Keeping warm at your neighbors' expense - Michael LewisJust trying to find solutions, Diane, not trying to get into an argument. Everyone has thoughts on what is reasonable in regard to the subject of generators. I have seen some good suggestions for staying warm without a generator here, and am certain I am not the only person on this list who has concerns about staying warm in the winter in an unfinished trailer. Safety is the issue of the day.I have found that one whippet tucked into the sleeping bag does wonders for staying warm. There are times when I wish I were blessed with some extra "padding" to help fight the cold weather... but I'm not. Some of y'all just don't understand... Mike ... a lover, not a fighter... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane Trefethen" <tref@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 1:59 AM Subject: [RC] Keeping warm at your neighbors' expense Is there any chance that rides will allow generators to be run after "bedtime" in the future...This keep warm stuff drives me nuts. I am the most chicken person on the planet when it comes to cold but even for me the solution is simple. I have a really low temp rated sleeping bag. Buy one and then if you want, you can sleep neked in total cozy comfort. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
