Gosh....I hope not, even the most quite ones are loud in the middle of
the night.

Mike, look into Olympian Wave Catalytic Safety Heater (flame less),
they are safe and vent to the outside.  Note...they do need to be
installed, vent to the outside, and not used as a portable unit,
