Re: [RC] Safest at the Trot??? - Barbara McCraryI definitely find the trot easiest, and I feel safer at the trot. Of course, some horses have a rough trot and that is harder to deal with. But give me a smooth, non-elevated trot any day.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jessica Spoone-Raines" <jspoone@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 13, 2007 11:32 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Safest at the Trot??? *raises her hand* ME ME ME! To this day I feel much more secure at a trot than a canter. Its much easier for me to pick up the rhythm and keep a secure seat. It used to puzzle people that I would fall off at a canter and never get off balance when my horse would dodge sideways at a trot. But then I've always been an odd person. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
