Re: [RC] vet check questions - jenLaney, your response about your horse not eating his BP mash at the ride has me intrigued. Any theories as to why? Also, any other horses out there who do this? I will be bringing hay, BP mash, apples and carrots, but I would be very worried if he refused to eat his BP. Again, thanks in advance.Jen M. and Banjo ----- Original Message ----- From: "Laney Humphrey" <laneyhh@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "jen" <bsbat@xxxxxxxx> Cc: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 06, 2007 9:34 PM Subject: Re: [RC] vet check questions I'd make sure it is very securely contained because crewbags get thrown around a lot! My horse eats his beet pulp/eq. sr. mash am and pm but will not eat beet pulp at lunch on a ride. Unless you know your horse will eat it, I'd bring along something else too. I always bring hay even if RM says hay will be provided. Lots of carrots and apples too. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
