Here, here! I find this very frustrating, both as a rider trying to hear what the RM has to say, and as a RM who has to answer the same questions at least 5 times each, even after I've made a point to clearly and loudly repeat the info twice and ask if every one has gotten it: What time do the (25s, 50s) start? How long are the holds? What is the loop order for the (25s, 50s)? **sigh** I've come up with a plan to at least put the non-listeners "on the spot" during my pre-ride briefing next year, though. <EG> Ok, so I have an ornery streak. hehe Nothing real bad...I'm just going to ask someone else in the crowd who WAS listening to answer their question.

I applaud your willingness to bring this to the fore. It happens over and over at NATRC rides, too. Not only during awards but during Ride Briefings. I have been so frustrated with the general attitude that indicates folks think they have no responsibility in demonstrating "good manners". If you figure out an answer besides "smackin' em up the side of the head", let me know!!
