[RC] saddle pads/blankets - Ridecamp Guest

OK, I have come to sort of an understanding regarding saddle fit. However, 
there are more types of saddle blankets and pads out there than when I rode 20 
years ago. What kind of pads have you had success with? What about these gel 
pads, sticky pads, equipedic pads, etc? When do you opt for a thicker pad 
verses a thin one? If I were to believe everything on the various companies 
websites I would be broke right now for buying the "must have" pads.
