Re: [RC] saddle pads/blankets - Laney Humphreythe most important thing to remember about saddle pads is that they can only rarely correct saddle fit. Once you know your saddle fits well, then you can focus on issues such as sweat absorption or cooling the back or whatever else concerns you and choose a pad that addresses that issue. As with anything else, each type of pad has its goods and its bads. I think it's really important to read the advertising hype very carefully to determine what "problem" that particular pad addreses. If it isn't a problem you have, you probably don't need that pad. Having said that, it's hard to go wrong with pads made of natural fibers, especially wool which can either be fleece or felt but there are lots of innovative pads out there too, if you need them.Laney Ridecamp Guest wrote: Please Reply to: Cyndi stevcynwunder@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
