[RC] Spooky horses - Eye Test? - Karen EllisIs there such a test? What would the veterinarian look for? I have a particularly spooky horse and I've wondered about her eyesight. She will do a lightening flash roll-back if she meets anything going around a corner. She ducks and dekes at most everything when she is the lead horse or on her own - from a distance - once we get close up and she can see it, she is fine. Behind another horse - she couldn't care less.I've thought about asking my vet to check her eyesight but is there a test for far sightedness and if so, what could he do about it? Heidi or Dr. Garlinghouse? Yeah, and some people think giving Ritalin to kids is appropriate to control behavior. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
