The AF panels are not thin, and they are triple-layered at the mounting points. They are not breaking. This person is making statements without any supportive information, and using scare tactics to try and sell saddles. All of the flex-panel saddles evolved from the OrthoFlex design, and each company developed a different way to attach the panels to the tree in order to avoid patent infringements and improve on the design. AF put a lot of $$ into laser-cutting machinery to perfect the tree and panel design. "Rushing to get the market share" of flex-panel saddles is what Capitalism is all about.
