RE: [RC] Thumps - heidiAt a ride about four years ago, my horse had a small "tic" in one flank. The vet said it looked like a thump but since it was only in one side - it might not be thumps. He told me to let him eat and bring him back. Everything else was fine with a 60/48 CRI. When I brough him back it was gone and the vet said to go on he wasn't worried about it. It is not uncommon for a mild case of thumps to only occur in one side. I'd say that yes, this was a case of thumps--but also that the vet made the right call.
