Just don’t
haul horses over hwy 4 (Ebbett’s Pass)!! I did it once and will never do it
again. I am sure the person who suggested Tioga has hauled over that one and it
is fine.

Ridecampers: I am going to the Eastern High Sierra Classic in Bridgeport
on 8/13. I am leaving from Moss Beach, CA, just south of San
Francisco. Can anyone recommend a driving route? I am considering
50 out of Sacramento and taking 4 and 89 south of Tahoe to 395 to
Bridgeport. But I see that I could also take 4 out of Stockton across the
Sierras. I haven't taken any of these roads, nor been to Bridgport for
that matter. Any Northern Californians have any experience they can lend
on traveling to Bridgeport? Thanks..Jean and Chi (please give directions
to my mom so we can get there without taking the long way)
