Re: [RC] Time off before 100s - heidiAs my track coach used to say - "I don't care what you do on your own time - it's what you do on my time that's important." For my horse the same goes. I define his workout, I track his progress and make modifications based on how it is going and decide when to increase, taper or rest. If he wants to cavort in the pasture - that's cool but that's not part of his program ;-) . While it may not be part of his "program," nonetheless if you have a horse that does NOT self-exercise, there are certainly ramifications to that which need to be taken into account when designing "his" program. Heidi PS: As others have mentioned, if you have one that is normally rambunctious when he is loose, and then he ISN'T, that is a very significant sign that not all is well. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
