Re: [RC] [RC] Horse ordinances - IbiteraaarrAt LSU our swine, cattle, sheep and horse units are out away from the campus on lots of land the university purchased strictly for livestock. Over the years, people have moved in and started up residences and are fighting the university to move the livestock units because of the smell. I know here in Louisiana, once land has been zoned for horses, it cannot be changed, which is why we have lots of stables in the city of New Orleans. I'm not sure if this applies to all livestock in any other states, but the stable owner might look into seeing what the zoning laws are regarding livestock. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= http://www.endurance.net/ads/seabiscuit.html Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
