Re: [RC] Ponying - Becky Huffman
I have a short rope, about three feet with a knot in the end that I use to
pony with. I hold the knot or can take it up a little to keep the led
horse closer. The knot keeps it from slipping out of my hand unless I
purposely let go. It is short enough to not get tangled around your hand or
anything else, but long enough to give you a little play. This works very
well as long as both horses are reasonably well trained (to ride / to lead)
and you are in an area where you can let go if needed.
