Re: [RC] [Guest] Long shirts for cool riding...what's best? - Marilyn Wiesehttp://www.sunprecautions.com/product.asp?UID=2003081315580297&itemno=1530K03+2XL+N Follow the link above and you will see the shirt that I wear for all my conditioning and competition rides. I've had other colors but now just stick to the white one....I buy several each year and take good care of them since they are so expensive, but I don't wear any other kind of top from spring thru fall. It is often 100 degrees while I am out riding and without the good coverage and ventilation this shirt offers, I couldn't handle the heat as well as I do. Since we rarely have rain or clouds, I need all the skin protection I can get too. marilyn wiese in san angelo, tx Hannah Petersen rosetta15@xxxxxxxxxxx Good afternoon~ Since this is one of the most informative places I know to look, I have a question that I would love some feedback on. I know that many people prefer to wear long sleeved men's button-up shirts on rides in the summer, to keep cool and to prevent sunburn (which happens only too easily on us fair skinned people!). I have another 50 in a couple of weeks that is going to be quite hot, and would like to buy a shirt to use. So my question is: for those of you that wear these shirts on rides, which type of shirt would you recommend? And where do you find them? Since it's a dry heat out here in CA, wetting the shirt down seems like the biggest plus to me, almost like built in air conditioning... :) Thank you all in advance, and hope you all are having the best of summers! thanks, Hannah =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= http://www.endurance.net/ads/seabiscuit.html Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
