Natural tick/fly deterrents
Has anyone experimented (for themselves) with things like garlic
consumption as a deterrent for ticks? Even the slightest positive
results?
I just read somewhere that basil is unattractive to flies, so that if
you planted lots of basil around your house, in window boxes, etc. that
they'd be repelled. Or at least some of them would. Has anyone tried
this?
I'm a real fan of pesto, so if anyone has anything good to report about
either of these having anti-bug properties, let me know. I will then be
forced to eat lots and lots of pesto. Lif
