I have a small Velcro strap attached to
the back of the sensor that I use to wrap around the girth just below the neoprene
protector for the buckles. It is a center fire rigging so that puts my monitor
in just the right place. It has just enough grip it does not move around and we
get a constant read.

girths
One of my riding buddies is having trouble with his HRM. It
seems the mohair girths are constantly stretching on a ride and the HRM sensor
won't maintain contact with the horse. How do you remedy this if the rider
doesn't want to keep tightening the girth? The saddle seems pretty stable even
with the loose girth, just no HRM reading.
