Re: [RC] [RC] Not paying your dues by Feb 1 - Carla RichardsonI sense that you are being a little sarcastic about the "privileges" of AERC members. So I have some comments. I consider it a privilege that we have the organization that is AERC. I consider it a privilege to have my (and my horses') miles and ride record tracked and available online. I consider it a privilege that AERC supports trails, and equine research. I also consider it a privilege that my ride entries are $15 less because I'm a member. I consider it a privilege that each year AERC puts on a national convention that is a pleasure to attend, as well as educational. As far as tracking points, I probably won't have to worry about that ... I do consider it a privilege to be a member. Oh, and I almost forgot -- I also enjoy the privilege of receiving the Endurance News each month. However, if you are NOT a "privileged" member, you do not receive POINTS for any ride, nor will you accumulate miles for the year. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
