RE: [RC] Safe??? - David LeBlancEric said: "The more you try to "protect" the public (say a fence for the dog), the more risk you are placing on yourself. I am sure one of our counselors will correct me if I am wrong." Actually, it's very much the other way around, at least here. If you're aware of a hazard and don't warn someone, then you're much more liable. If you just don't know - say there was a hole in my yard, I didn't know, and you stepped in it and got hurt, then it's just an accident. If you know and don't warn, that's a big problem. Perhaps if there's an actual attorney on the list, they can clarify. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
