Re: [RC] Safe??? - Eric RueterAt any rate, when people know the risks they're taking in advance, you're less likely to get lawyers involved, or even have malfunctions in the first place. I can remember writing on my slate with chalk during a class at the University, that the more you admitted a dangerous situation, the more you were liable if someone was injured in that situation. The example given was a dog. If you put up signs that say "Beware of Dog" and you dog bites someone, then you have admitted -before the fact- that you had a vicious dog, and are therefore more at fault because you obviously did not do enough to protect the public. The more you try to "protect" the public (say a fence for the dog), the more risk you are placing on yourself. I am sure one of our counselors will correct me if I am wrong. thanx eric Eric Rueter Rueter Consulting, Inc.
