Re: [RC] Swanton Pacific - Ashley KemererUsually the advantage is your competition. In 2 50's you're competing agaisnt all riders that are doing the ride, even if they're riding one day. But in a 2 day 100 there are usually far less people competing, and you are only competing against those people. So if you are on the hunt for points, you are much more likely to be 1st in your weight division or closer to it than if you ride in 2 days of 50s. However there are draw backs to the 2 day 100, ie if you only complete one day you get no mileage...
