RE: [RC] equine ear plugs - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLFBut how do you keep the plugs in? I refuse to put one of those prissy crocheted cranial accessories on my horse. (sorry if I offend anyone who uses those). Hey, another good use for earplugs could be to keep those pesky little deer flies out of the horse's ears too! I might even try using them on myself next time I go camping! :) Carrie Kitley-Jackson 30th Medical Group, Vandenberg AFB DMLSS?Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) CACI?International Inc? www.caci.com dsn?276-1077, Comm (805) 606-1077 fax dsn?276-1179 <\_~ // \\ carrie.kitley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx? -----Original Message----- From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steph Teeter Sent: Thursday, August 14, 2008 9:27 AM To: ridecamp camp Subject: Re: [RC] equine ear plugs I haven't used 'ear plugs' on my horses personally, but talked with an endurance rider this year (sometime, somewhere... I can't recall who it was) who used them on their terribly spooky horse and they said it basically stopped the spooking. They also said that a lot of carriage/driving horses use them. It sounded pretty interesting to me at the time! Steph =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
