Re: [RC] Hoof Wizard...What do you guys think?? - Dolores ArsteNumbers don't really mean anything when it comes to feet. I remember when my regular farrier went outon maternity leave. Before she left I had her write down all the angles for my horse's feet. I made sure the sub farrier trimmed exactly to those angles. But, what I learned is that the orientation to the ground makes a difference. I can't explain it. I just know that although I had all the measurements in the world they didn't prevent the sub from changing my horse's feet. It wasn't dramatic but enough to cause him to interfere where he hadn't before. I still measure but if the hoof doesn't tell me the same thing as the measurements, I'll believe the hoof :) Warmly, Dolores www.zenhorsemanship.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
