I live in Lakeside, CA ... the redneck capital of - well, if not the world, at least Southern California. It is just the impression I have -- there are farriers that don't even use a hoof gauge, let alone something like the "hoof wizard". Specialists are a different sort of animal. When you consult a specialist, you generally a) expect to pay more, and b) expect them to use different techniques (including x-rays, etc.).Regardless of that - I still am not convinced that this thing is foolproof enough. It looks as if it would be really easy to attach it at a slant, which would not be a good thing for the horse.
