RE: [RC] Why I require hoof protection - Karen StandeferIsn't it true that to pull a horse for lameness that the horse has to show consistent lameness (more than grade I)? Couldn't that be the reason they don't get pulled when foot sore all the way around? I don't think there is a standard for pulling a short strided horse which is what you see when a horse is all around foot sore. I've been to several rides where barefoot horse's riders have argued with the vet to go on when the vet saw something and wanted to pull the horse.
