RE: [RC] Mean people - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLF

Ann - I couldn't agree with you more . . . in my personal experience here on RC 
for only about a month so far, I have been told I'm "too vocal", "too 
sensitive", and "ignorant" simply for having feelings and an opinion!  What's 
up with that?!  I happen to be a pretty well-liked, nice person overall (so I'm 
told), and believe it or not, RC seems to be the only place in my life where 
there are seemingly people I don't get along with.  Outside of RC, I don't have 
that problem.  I have found that with some here, it's their way or the highway. 
I don't have the time or energy to argue or be blasted here, I just want to 
glean and share information in a positive manner.  I've almost unsubscribed 
already, a couple times, but like you said, there ARE many helpful hints given 
so I'll stick around for awhile and focus on that good stuff.  If it gets ugly 
again, I think I'll bail.  It's not worth the frustration.  That being said, 
I'm happy to say I've been some very sweet, helpful and intelligent people here 
as well.  You know who you are and I thank you for being the way you are.  :)

While I hate those people who are forever posting to say "me too, me too!' (you 
know who your are), I really have to support this statement:



"No matter what the subject is... here you, *, * & * come, knowledge of all 
subjects.... it makes people paranoid 

to respond to any subject on this list.  That's why there are 20 people talking 
and 1,000 people reading only..."



It's hard to have a friendly 'conversation' when the self-professed experts 
leap out of the shadows to challenge every statement.  It might be a bit 
friendlier list with more people participating, although, God Forbid, they 
might be wrong about some things, if those of you who Do Know Everything could 
be a bit kinder to those of us who do not.
