Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

I think, although not positive, the reason he stopped offering the ride had 
to do with Pres. Clinton's designating the Grand Staircase-Escalante as a 
National Monument, thus putting the area off-limits to "competitive events." 
Would someone, perhaps Crockett himself either confirm or refute this?
