good post - my driver training teacher in high school - a LONG TIME ago :)
- used to tell his students every year that the rule of the road was " do
nothing to cause your fellow drivers to change either speed or direction". While
at times things happen that cause one to have to violate this, in general if
everyone has this kind of mindset and courtesy, then there would be dramatically
fewer conflicts and accidents. People need to - and too often don't - remember
that the world does NOT revolve around them, and frankly, there are billions of
people in China who have NO CLUE you got up this morning let alone are riding in
a race. In the end, be safe, have fun, do your best - other than that, no one
cares.
