Fw: [RC] Leather Treatment of Olive Oil - Dot WigginsA leather worker/saddle maker I know swears by plain everyday "kitchen" vegetable oil on leather all the time. I don't recall him putting anything out in the sun, just room temperature.Subject: Re: [RC] Leather Treatment of Olive Oil I've used olive oil successfully to treat leather but I've never then set the leather item in the sun. My leather cleaning product of choice is Murphy's Oil Soap. A local saddle maker/restorer only uses glycerin on the old saddles he works on. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
