You can count at least 21 times those spurs overcorrected that horse. You are correct...I was appalled with the heavy handed manner this rider controlled this horse. As far as the grey mare and her tail...have any of you ever watched a horse cueing up to make a jump...watch their tail. It's like a helicopter blade spinning. The higher the level of jumping the harder and faster they use their tails. Watch it sometime. No, I am not a proponent of jumping. But I do have clients that are.
