Hi Mike,

It might be helpful if you searched the archives with
the key word Heart Rate Monitors as well as GPS
Systems.  There has been lots of information
disseminated over the last 3 months on Ride Camp
regarding both of these items.  

If memory serves we well - The Polar Wellness Kit and
the GPS 305 came out on top.  Not quite sure but a
search through the archives will definitely help your
quest considerably.  Good luck and let us know what
you decided on.
