I was watching an interesting documentary on the military with
my husband the other night and this caught my ear… “When marching long
periods try putting a pebble in your mouth. It will keep the mouth moist
and reduce thirst”. It was form an old (WWI I think) military
training manual. Anybody heard of this or know if it works? If so, and
to keep this endurance related, it could be useful info if you ever run out of
water and get lost on a desert ride.
