Re: [RC] Long Distance Hauling - Linda Marins----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathy Klenk" <kramspott@xxxxxxxxxxx> Do you just drive into the fairground and there will be people there or do you have to call ahead... I'd call ahead. I was advised to use the county fairgrounds near Woodstock, Virginia off I81 on a two-day trip from Massachusetts to Tennessee. The fairgrounds was being used by Standarbred people as a training track and the fairgrounds management said they would refuse to let me overnight. While not a fairgrounds, the New Jersey Horsepark just outright refused to even let me pull in to stretch my horse's legs when I phoned ahead. "Insurance reasons," I was told. Evidently anybody who books the facility has coverage, but somebody just coming in off the highway doesn't.
