Re: [RC] Long Distance Hauling - nebarIn the Summer I freeze water (either plain or flavored) in their buckets (half full). Also I buy ice blocks along the way to put in the buckets. Hang that in front of them and it acts as a coolant and as it melts they can drink if they want. I did the same thing for our dogs when we were showing they have water available without the usual mess. I do add water along the way if the horses are drinking all of the liquid. Plus it gives two of my horses something to do besides looking for trouble.Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming- WOW -what a ride!!
