[RC] re: combined GPS and equine HRM - - Lucie HessI'm interested in such a device. I currently use a
belted Polar HRM and I love it, but it would be nice
to have a combined GPS and HRM. Is there anyway to use
the human heart monitor in the same way that I
currently use my belted monitor? Assuming that I
would be smart enough to use the gps part of it!
I like my belted monitor as I don't have to worry
about electrodes getting yanked off when I pull my
saddle and I can leave it on until I get to the vet
and sometimes, the vet doesn't ask me to take it off.
It's great for NATRC rides, I can pull my saddle and
continue to monitor the horse's pulse and know how
hard I have to work to get him down.
Thanks in advance for the advice.. I can always rely
on Ridecamp for good advice.
