Re: [RC] Men, Women, and Fear - LindakSpiders are my one fear. Snakes, even rattlesnakes don't bother me. Night before last, my son (who is 45) came in and told me there was a rattlesnake on my back deck. I went out and sure enough a Red Diamond rattlesnake was all reared up and fearfully buzzin'. It was between my house and my spa. My son had a shovel in hand and wanted to kill it but I adamantly refused that option. We got a metal can about two feet tall with a lid, laid the can on its side, and my son prodded the snake with a long handled (four-five foot) paint roller. It crawled into the can and I put the lid on and we drove him about 5 miles away and released it into a huge empty field with some hilly areas. I search the net and found this Red Diamond rattlesnake is becoming rare and all sighting are requested to be reported. Glad we could rescue one. From Linda-kHave a horse lovin' day!!! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
