?Amber, I can only share my experience. I regularly feed grass clippings, BUT I feed within 2 hours of cutting. Fermentation occurs in the anerobic, moist conditions of a pile. I don't want to risk feeding spoiled grass. However,?I really doubt that your horses would root into those grass mounds in preference to the lush, green grazing.? Floyd
