Judging from what I’ve read, in “formula one racing” the race is pretty much over after there is a winner, maybe in rides after the top 10 are in? Then all the other riders quit trying to do their best to complete the ride, and instead probably go to the next vet check for a trailer ride in. Did I get it right?
I’ve only heard the term “appendix” applied to QHs. It means they have a TB parent. An Arab with a TB parent is an Anglo-Arab.
