Shadow’s Se level is .187, taken 3 weeks after her
tie-up. I immediately upped her dosage and that may have skewed the test
results, but I felt if she had a deficiency it was more important to give her
more right away. The other values were on the day of tie-up AST 4635, LDH 8018,
CK over 120,000. 3 weeks after the
tie-up, AST is 1472 (normal is 168-408), LDH 468 (normal is 140-440) and CK
2561 (normal is 110-700). She won’t
be going back to work for a while yet. The vet feels that the cause was being in
