Blood work shows Ray to be severely anemic, but points to
not being a chronic problem. Possibly related to the 100 he did a couple months
ago, possibly due to his temp move to my property so I could ride him & get
him bonded to my horses that he was going to be on the trail with during Tevis.
The vet feels he has no internal bleeding and it is more of a stress related anemia.
I’m just glad it’s something that can be remedied. Selenium test
will be complete next week.
