Re: [RC] helmet vents and sticks- Dawn - Truman PrevattI've learned over the years to approach low hanging limbs and we have them in Florida the same way a running back in football approaches a hole in the line that is closing - shoulders square and helmet down with full force going into the limbs. Most of the helmets have no vent holes in the top and by approaching them straight on - sticks are not very likely to get stuck in the holes.Back before I started "attacking" the limbs and tried to "duck" them I've had more than one limb reach out and grab me. Since I've started attacking them - haven't had the problem. Of course I've them go down the back of my shirt. That is not a lot of fun but at least they don't pop my neck that way.
