RE: [RC] helmet vents and sticks- Dawn - Chastain, Shannon L.I had a friend get a nasty cut when a stick got into her helmet. The ride vet stapled it for her. Then the next week when she went to her Doctor to take the staple out he couldn't the did not have the "correct" tool to take them out she had to go to her local vet. At one ride I actually thought I was going to be hung off the tree as I trotted under a tree branch. Ducked my head to go under and a thick stick caught my vent, If I hadn't been able to stop my horse quickly it would have pulled my off the horse. As it was I had to unhook my helmet.
